got up early this morning and headed to okc for my monthly inspector mtg. on the way i engulfed “holy discontent” book by Bill Hybels on my Ipod – what can i say the timing from yesterday was too perfect! loved it.
on the way back in finished listening to it. that’s the great part about this hat that i wear, gives me great time to personally grow. the other hats are personal trainer, triathlete, church planter in learning mode, father and dad. i had two sessions of personal training tonight – love Jane and Vlad they continue to amaze me as the pounds fly off! followed that up with a birthday party at Zio’s for my sis-n-law. Word to self – rethink doing a fast when you know during that time you will be eating at Zio’s!
Amy and I were able to have some alone time and continue to talk about what God has been speaking to us about during our fast.
winded the day down with my FNL fixing a dishwasher at our duplex we rent out. came home fixed our ghetto christmas tree, chased Cambo and snuggled with Cale. now i’m printing off maps for another day tomorrow on the rode. man this was a long one but god was with me. i love time in my truck to explore my thoughts and just get all alone with my creator. i’m out…..
