“Da Da”

May 29, 2008 — 1 Comment

The best part of today and what made everything else seem so small was hearing my soon to be one year old say, “Da Da” to me for the first time.  It’s amazing how such a long day, with some aggregations, can all go away in a few seconds time.

I was able to talk to an incredible guy from Huntsville Texas, that is leading an amazing Chi Alpha Ministry down there.  He gave me some encouraging words as we look to the fall semester at RSU.

I also had a phone conversation that reinforced my dream.  It made me realize how big my vision is for Claremore and how streamlined my focus is.  Man I can’t stop what God places in the heart.  For most of my life I have allowed men to determine my destiny – well, no longer.  It is in the hands of an almighty God!  I love several quotes i recently heard:

“I believe you have to be willing to be misunderstood if you’re going to innovate. That’s actually a serious point. If you’re going to do something that’s never been done before—which is basically what innovation is—people are going to misunderstand it just because it’s new.” Jeff Bezos

“Dont ask yourself what the world needs.  Ask yourself what makes you come alive, and go do that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive
